Holders of diplomatic passports of Uzbekistan and India do not need visas

The intergovernmental agreement coming into force on April 4 allows the citizens of Uzbekistan and India to enter, leave and stay in the territories of the states of the parties without visas for up to 60 days.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the agreement was signed on October 1 last year in New Delhi. It should contribute to the operational resolution of organizational issues during the mutual visits of official representatives - holders of diplomatic passports of the two countries.

Meanwhile, for the holders of other types of passport, the previous regime applies. According to it, citizens of India can enter Uzbekistan by e-visa.
