Schneider Electric enters the Uzbek market

An international company has opened a representative office in Tashkent.

The company has been working with the CIS countries for more than 20 years, but appeared in Uzbekistan only last year, engaging in a number of ongoing projects - the construction of the Humo Arena, the Center for Islamic Civilization and others.

Now, a representative office of the company will work in Tashkent, as Schneider Electric launches a project for assembling high-voltage and low-voltage switchboard equipment at the IE Energo Systema NVA LLC production site.

The company provides partners with technical solutions, as well as credit resources, while industrial assembly will be carried by local partners, Armen Badalov, Vice President for Business Development and Strategy, Russia & CIS at Schneider Electric has mentioned.

“Large-scale projects are being carried out in Uzbekistan in the fields of energy, industry and IT services,” notes Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of Uzbekistan, Botir Usmanov. “And the participation of a well-known company in the global energy industry will help introduce advanced technological solutions to these projects.
