Come to Uzbekistan without visa tomorrow

February 1, 2019 marks the new visa regime for international tourists visiting Uzbekistan.

Due to the recent measures to facilitate visiting Uzbekistan, a new visa-free regime for 45 countries comes into effect tomorrow. The holders of the following passports can enter Uzbekistan without visa for 30 days.  The full list can be found here.

Meanwhile citizens of 76 countries can apply for an electronic visa on the e-visa.gov.uz.  These are the countries eligible for obtaining e-visa:

  2. Antigua and Barbuda 
  3. Arab Republic of Egypt
  4. Barbados
  5. Belize
  6. Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
  7. Eastern Republic of Uruguay
