Compatriots return home after the quarantine

In order to prevent the emergence and spread of COVID-19 infection in Uzbekistan, our compatriots returned from abroad, were placed in quarantine.

In particular, 37 citizens who returned from Iran and 175 from Latvia were placed in quarantine at the Infectious Diseases Hospital of Turakurgan district in Namangan region and Kasansay sanatorium. Their quarantine period has ended today. 

Taking into account that 187 out of 212 citizens, who were under doctors’ supervision for 14 days, live in different regions of the country. Uztemiryulovchi JSC has taken them home on Namangan – Tashkent – Urgench special passenger train. 

Fully disinfected passenger train has left from Namangan Railway Station on March 31 at 9:00 and according to the schedule will arrive at Urgench Station on April 1 at 14:57.
